Membership Information

Although we're the newest yacht club in OR, we maintain a very open club roster. The only membership requirement is that you own a boat...size does not matter so be creative!

Membership in the Mt. Tabor Yacht Club is generally available to those who have a demonstrated interest in participating in and promoting the development of yachting in all its aspects, including, without limitation, cruising, angling and racing.

Levels of MTYC Membership

FLAG
Any person 30 years of age or over is eligible for election to the Club as a Flag Member.

JUNIOR FLAG
Any person age 19 through 29 is eligible for election to the Club as a Junior Flag member.

NON-RESIDENT
Only persons who reside outside of Multnomah County and who are a Flag or equivalent member in good standing of a reciprocal yacht club of the Mt. Tabor Yacht Club and do not regularly use and/or dock their boat at the Mt. Tabor Yacht Club facilities are eligible for election to the Club as a Non-Resident member. Whether or not a yacht club is to be deemed a reciprocal yacht club is to be determined by the Board of Directors of the Mt. Tabor Yacht Club.

JUNIOR
Any person, ages 12 through 18, whose parent is not a member of the Mt. Tabor Yacht Club, is eligible for election to the Club as a Junior member. Juniors are required to renew their membership annually.

SERVICE
Members of the United States Armed Forces, on active service and stationed in Multnomah County, are eligible for election for Service membership. Service membership may continue so long as active duty status continues up to a maximum term of three years.

Please contact our Membership Coordinator for current fees and an application.
